It has been announced that International Sound Corporation (ISC) has been chosen to install a new High Definition broadcast control room at the New Meadowlands Racetrack.
The new broadcast system will provide high-definition coverage for racing at the New Meadowlands, marking a new era at one of the premier racetracks in the United States. The Meadowlands is in the process of building a brand new, state-of-the-art racing and entertainment venue and wanted to make sure that the broadcast of racing received that same upgrade. That is the reason International Sound was chosen to design and install this system.
“I have been working with International Sound and the Snyder family for more than 18 years dating back to my days at Scioto Downs,” said Jason Settlemoir, CEO and general manager of the New Meadowlands. “It is a new age at the New Meadowlands Racetrack and International Sound is the ideal partner for this project. Their knowledge and history in the industry is unsurpassed.”
“We are very excited about this new project,” said David Snyder, president of International Sound. “The Meadowlands is one of the premier tracks and to help build up what will be a new era in racing at the New Meadowlands is an exciting opportunity. “
International Sound just recently finished broadcast control room installations at Vernon Downs and Tioga Downs. These two properties, along with the New Meadowlands Racetrack, are all owned and operated by Jeff Gural.
“Without slots, money is tight, but as we have seen this past year our export handle has increased dramatically as the bettors recognize our efforts to improve our racing product. Couple that with our integrity efforts and the large pools, it is a necessity to offer our customers the best technology possible to view our racing product, which is why we chose International Sound,” said Gural.
