Two-year-olds were in the spotlight during the Tuesday afternoon (July 7) card at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, and four freshmen took turns hitting the wire first in their respective assignments.

The faster of two races for pacing colts was won by the JK Endofanera--Nashville Blues colt JK Objection, who stopped the timer in 1:54.1. Driver Andrew McCarthy made his move after early contention, got the lead near the half, then posted successive :28.1 fractions home to win nicely for trainer Nancy Takter and the 3 Brothers Stables.

Lindysalwaysthinkn was put into contention from the outside Post 9 by driver George Napolitano Jr., then proved to have the most at the end of a 1:55.4 mile while paying an 'un-Napolitano-like' $27.60 to win. Andrew Harris had the son of Always B Miki--Think Pink sharp for the OB Stables. 'George Nap' topped all drivers Tuesday with four wins on the card.

Also overcoming the outermost post draw was the Somebeachsomewhere--Lindys Nightmare pacing filly Lindy At The Beach, who tucked third early, brushed to challenge entering the far turn, and drove off to win handily in 1:55.4 for driver Scott Zeron, trainer Domenico Cecere, and Lindy Farms of Connecticut.

Yet another sharp juvenile that was stuck behind the 8-ball at the post shake, the Swan For All--Cheetah Hall trotting filly Swift Swanda, was able to overcome her adverse starting fortune to win her debut in 1:58. She trotted her personal back half in :56.3 and edged out Callas by a nose. Marcus Miller was in charge for trainer/father Erv Miller and the ownership of Anthony Lombardi and Kales Company LLC.
