Trainer Tommy Riley sent out a parade of winners at Kawatha Downs during the Friday, July 5 card of harness racing.

The Riley stable remained hot at the Kawartha meet, with three consecutive winners on the nine-race card, all driven by Samuel Fillion.

The victory was the distaffer's 10th of the season, making her one of just 17 horses in North America with a win count in the double-digits.

Master Grand ($4.60), a six-year-old trotting gelding, won his debut from the Riley stable, scoring in 1:58.1 in his first appearance at the Fraserville, Ont. oval.

Coming off a career-best season in 2023 with 58 wins and $463,430 in purses, Riley has earned nearly half (19) of his 40 wins so far this year at Kawartha Downs. The track's defending training champion extended his lead in the current meet's standings to 14. He now boasts a .348 UTRS this season, which ranks among the top 10 in all of Canada.
