The two-year-old Maritime-bred fillies hit the track Wednesday, July 10 during Governor’s Plate Week at Red Shores Summerside Raceway.
Two "A" divisions for fillies will each go for a purse of $12,920, while one "B" division will race for $2,500.
This begins the fillies quest for points to earn their way into the Atlantic Breeders Crown. The top eight point earners will race in the Atlantic Breeders Crown Final on Oct. 13 at Red Shores Charlottetown.
Atlantic Sire Stakes Action continues Thursday, July 11 when the two-year-old colts head to Summerside for their first Atlantic Sire Stake debut.
