For A Dancer posted the fastest winning time of eight divisions of the W.N. Reynolds Memorial stakes held on Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun at Pocono
Downs. The Reynolds races are the highlight of Grand Circuit Week at Pocono.
There were eight divisions of the Reynolds held on Wednesday for two-year-old fillies on the trot. Purses for those races ranged from $20,019 to $20,419.
For A Dancer, trained by Joe Holloway and driven by David Miller, was coming off a win in her debut at The Meadowlands. She took to the five-eighths oval at Pocono very well, winning her split by one and three-quarter lengths in 1:57, the fastest of all the winning times.
Other winners were: Sculpted Vanity (Tim Tetrick, Linda Toscano) in 1:58; Sand Violent Blu (Brett Miller, Tye Loy) in 1:58.2; Swinging Nadine (Yannick Gingras, Bruce Saunders) in 1:57.1; Check Me Out (Tetrick, Ray Schnittker) in 1:59.3; Love Walked In (Andy Miller, Julie Miller) in 1:58; Riverfest (David Miller, Joseph King) in 1:58.4; and Dream On Hanover (Brett Miller, Staffan Lind) in 1:57.4.
Reynolds action continues on Friday night at Pocono with five divisions of two-year-old fillies on the pace.
