Waxman Wins Three At Kawartha

Trainer Isaac Waxman scored a hat trick on the Saturday (July 4) program at Kawartha Downs.

Waxman opened the card with a wire-to-wire win behind his trainee and 1-5 favourite Amini ($2.10) in a $4,500 conditioned pace. He returned to the winner’s circle six races later with another blowout victory, winning with Maxim Miser ($3.40) by 12 lengths in 1:54. Waxman then capped the evening with a wire-to-wire win by Macho Polo ($7.80) in a $3,800 conditioned claiming pace.
