There was no stopping driver Guy Gagnon during Thursday’s 10-race card at Rideau Carleton Raceway, as the veteran reinsman found his way to victory lane five times throughout the course of the evening.
Gagnon kicked off the card with a win behind Wildcat Cam, who front-stepped to a 1:56 win as the odds-on favourite. The reinsman returned to victory lane in Race 4 thanks to his gate-to-wire score with B J Comanche in 2:00.4. He came right back to capture Race 5 with Killer Thriller in 1:57.2.
He capped off his night by sweeping the Late Double with Hubby Number One (1:58.3) in Race 9 followed by a strike in Race 10 with I C Anastro (1:56).
The Quebec native, who went over $20 million in earnings earlier this season, has now racked up 66 wins this season while racking up close to $250,000 in season’s earnings. To date, he’s made his way to the winner’s circle 4,447 times.
