Four-year-old homebred trotter Cimeronken romped to a three and three-quarter length victory over a sloppy surface in Wednesday night's featured $7,000 Preferred 3 at Grand River Raceway.
Driver Billy Davis Jr. guided the Ken Warkentin gelding through fractions of :29, :59.2 and 1:29 en route to the 1:59.3 triumph for trainer Daryl Roberts and owner/breeder Denise Anderson of Mossley, Ont. Cimeronken surpassed the $100,000 earnings mark with his sixth career victory.
The favourite paid $4.70 to win. Oaklea Uptown and Jean Bernard Renaud followed in the pocket to place while Rose Run Limo and Kevin Sizer completed the triactor.
Cimeronken has now won his last three Grand River Raceway starts.
