Three splits of New York Sire Stakes for freshman pacing fillies went postward on Monday night at Tioga Downs, and Ali Blue was the quickest of the divisional winners.

Leaving from post position number one in a field scratched down to seven, Yannick Gingras moved Ali Blue back to the front after an opening quarter of :29 set by Suplemental Income (Matt Kakaley). From there the duo posted fractions of :57.1 and 1:24.4 before sprinting home in :27.4 to capture her third win of the season in a new lifetime best of 1:52.3.

The only blemish on the record of the daughter of American Ideal–Mintjulep Bluechip, came in the Tompkins-Geers stakes where Ali Blue broke a hopple just after the start of the race. Jimmy Takter trains Ali Blue for the ownership group of Christina Takter, John Fielding, R A W Equine, and Jim Fielding.

Other NYSS division winners were Sweetnsinful (driver Jimmy Whittemore and trainer Homer Hochstetler) in 1:53.2 and Tioga Downs’ track record holder JK Molly (driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Linda Toscano) in 1:53.

Five divisions of NYSS excelsior events were also held on Monday night with divisions going to Valentina De Vie (1:54.3), Spreester (1:57), One Hot Majorette (1:55.4), Just Add Vodka (1:57.2) and Francessa (1:56.4).
