Mach Ten, getting major post relief, made every pole a winning one when he trotted to victory in the $10,000 Preferred, Friday night at Batavia Downs Casino.

Leaving from the rail with Kevin Cummings in the sulky, the five-year-old altered son of International Chip set fractions of :28.1, :58.1 and 1:28.1 en route to a two and a half length score in 1:58, for owner Dianne Mahiques and trainer Michelle Gramza. Manfromnantucket (Ron Beback Jr.) at odds of 55-1 got away second and finished second while Fessup Fred (Chris Page), far back early, closed up to be third.

Mach Ten notched his sixth win of the 2011 campaign and raised his seasonal bankroll to more than $44,000. He returned $2.80 to win.

Live racing resumes on Saturday night with a 6:40 p.m. post time. Saturday night features a racing kickoff booklet giveaway which includes coupons good for free wagers. Guests can pick one up free of charge beginning at 5 p.m. at Players Club. Also on Saturday hot dogs, sodas and draft beer will be just a dollar all night long in the paddock room.
