Life Is Better went wire-to-wire on Sunday (July 3) at Dresden Raceway to win the feature race.
The six-year-old Betterthancheddar gelding set fractions of :28.3, :58.3, 1:28.1 with a last quarter kicker of :28.2 for a mile time of 1:56.3 for driver Garrett Rooney.
Life Is Better has banked over $111,000 thanks to 17 lifetime wins for owner/trainer Ken Mathieson and co-owner Henry Banakiewicz.
Read The Proposal and Scott Wray were second while Mo Better and Johnathan Hahn held on for third.
The handle at Dresden was $45,898.
