Warrawee Flare To Call It A Career

Richard Jack of the Stake Your Claim Stable has told Trot Insider that eight-year-old Northern Luck mare Warrawee Flare will be making her last career start Friday

, July 31 at Mohawk Racetrack.

"She has been a tremendous performer on the WEG circuit for many years and has given us all so many thrills," said Jack.

From 192 lifetime starts, Warrawee Flare has assembled a record of 40-16-13 with $607,969 in purse earnings and a mark of 1:50.3 taken at Mohawk in 2008.

"(Trainer) Darren McCall has done a wonderful job as her conditioner for nearly the last five years," Jack explained. "She will be retiring to become a broodmare."
