GD Cruise For Gold is the 8-5 morning line favourite to win Dresden Raceway’s Little Green Jug this Sunday, July 29.
The four-year-old Allthatgltrsisgold gelding is looking for his fifth win in a row at the half-mile oval for owner/trainer/driver Donnie Rankin Jr.
Scoring from post three this week, GD Cruise For Gold has gone wire-to-wire the last four starts.
The Little Green Jug is Dresden Raceway’s version of the Little Brown Jug for a regular overnight working man’s horse.
Dresden Raceway will also be honouring former horseman Ted McFadden on Sunday. The son of harness racing legend, Levi “Jiggs” McFadden passed away in March of 2017.
Gateway Casinos will also be giving away cooler bags on Sunday as part of the 143rd Dresden Exhibition.
