Lady Cafe Au Lait Seeks 10th Straight Tuesday

Lady Cafe Au Lait will seek another trip to the winner’s circle Tuesday evening in a $9,000 division of the Aged Pacing Mares Series at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

The Prince County oval has a 14-dash presentation starting at 6 p.m. (ADT), with the mares series featured in races nine and 12.

Trumps Girl is the 5-2 morning line favourite in the race nine division for driver Marc Campbell and trainer David O’Brien. The five-year-old daughter of Always B Miki has post five in the seven-horse field for owner Tommy Collings of Mount Stewart, P.E.I.

Redland Misspretty is the second choice at 3-1 from the rail with Paul Langille driving for trainer Kyle Williams. Badgirl Bridgette has post six at 7-2 for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Bill Lanigan, while Rosetown Mary leaves from post two with Corey MacPherson in the seat from his own barn.

The field also includes More Than A Woman (David Dowling), Oh Ophelia (Gilles Barrieau) and Miss Dutton (Adam Merner).

Lady Cafe Au Lait gets top billing in the second $9,000 Aged Pacing Mares Series division in race 12. Campbell drives the Earl Watts trainee from post four as the morning line favourite as she seeks her 10th straight win, including seven-straight on P.E.I. since arriving.

Windemere Saddy is listed at 3-1 from the rail with Ken Murphy driving for trainer Saul Lanigan. Trainer/driver Adam Merner sends out CC Rockin Rosie from post three at 7-2, while Brokenandoutofgas has post two for Barrieau and trainer Tammy Collings.

Wednesdays Child (Dowling), Sugar Bowl (Brady Sweet) and Glenview Rhonda (Keith Legge) complete the field.
