Jimmy Marohn Jr. sat in the back of the field as the pacesetters battled through fractions of :26.4 and :55.4. As the field straightened out and aimed towards three quarters Marohn and Lucy Lucy went three high and cleared the field past three quarters in 1:23.3. A couple taps of the whip to keep her attention through the final turn and the duo drew off the field on cruise control with a final panel of :28.4 to trip the timer in 1:52.2.
Bet The Ranch (Howard Parker) paced home late to pick up the place spot while Allamerican Celeb (Fern Paquet Jr.) hung on for third.
It was the fourth win in six starts at Tioga Downs this year, and the sixth win of the year for Lucy Lucy. Tioga Downs' leading trainer Michael Deters conditions the five-year-old Tough Sir-Small Change mare for Jay Sears of Osteen, Florida.
