Dresden Raceway’s track record for older trotting geldings fell on Sunday afternoon thanks to a 1:59 score by Twin B Exaclibur in a $7,500 conditoned tilt

The effort shaved one-fifth of a second off the former mark of 1:59.1 set by Connected Yankee on May 16, 2010.
With Danny Johnson at the controls, Twin B Excalibur marched right to the lead from post three and successfully laid down panels of :29.2, :59.4 and 1:29.2 before scooting home in :29.3 en route to the 2-1/4 length tally over Grogan. Laser Larry came first over before fading to finish third.
Randy Fulmer of Lasalle, ON and Phillip Katcher of DeWitt, MI share ownership on the seven-year-old son of Earl who is now a five-time winner this season. The 34-time winner has banked more than $240,000 to date.
