Marseille, off of a new lifetime mark that he recorded in last week’s Tompkins Geers, has moved up into third in the weekly rankings.
Greenshoe last raced in the Stanley Dancer Memorial at the Meadowlands and was sent off as the 1-5 favourite in the second division. The Marcus Melander-trained monster powered away from the competition in the lane en route to stopping the teletimer in a dazzling clocking of 1:50.1. A replay of the race appears below.
The 2019 Hambletonian will be contested at the Meadowlands Racetrack on Saturday, August 3.
