Returning to action off a five-week layoff, Lakeisha Hall got the pocket trip she needed before barreling through the 'lightning lane' to capture Tuesday’s (July 24) $20,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.
Fox Valley Charm took the field into the final turn but was attacked outside by McDazzle and inside by Lakeisha Hall, who edged Fox Valley Charm by a head in 1:52. McDazzle was a close third.
Ron Burke trains the five-year-old daughter of Third Straight and Lantana Hall, who extended her career bankroll to $539,879, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Jack Piatt II. It was one of four wins on the 13-race card for Palone.
