Ben Franklin Pace champion We Will See rallied from last to first to capture his second consecutive $70,000 Open Pace at Harrah’s Chester and third straight win at the

five-eighths-mile oval in Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon.

Driver Ron Pierce and the millionaire son of Western Hanover trailed the field of seven early on after leaving from the outside post position. After a :26.3 opening quarter was put up by Lisagain (Andy Miller), We Will See moved underway to track down the emerging leader and co-favourite Won The West (David Miller) past the half in :54.1. We Will See collared Won The West at three-quarters in 1:22 and then pulled away from the pack with a :27.2 final frame to score in 1:49.2 by three and a half lengths. Won The West and Lisagain finished second and third respectively.

We Will See paid $5.40 to win. Sam DePinto trains the four-year-old for owners Shannon DePinto of Cream Ridge, New Jersey, Earl Smith of Millstone, New Jersey and Jerry Silva of Long Beach, New York. The win was his sixth in 13 seasonal starts and lifted his 2011 bankroll to $484,550.
