The 2017 Harness Horse Youth Foundation Camp, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Harness Horsemen’s Association at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, wrapped up Saturday (July 22) with three exhibition races featuring all 10 children accompanied by drivers.
The camp was held at the track in Northeast PA from Tuesday, July 18 to Saturday, July 22, with all campers experiencing and learning everything about harness racing.
Here are the results of the races:
Race 1 - Royal Attire won the race, driven by Connor Luze and accompanied by Anthony Napolitano.
Race 2 - CDs Miss M won, driven by Emma Caruthers-Swortz and accompanied by Austin Siegelman.
Race 3 - Pokies Topshot was the winner, driven by Amanda Blackford and accompanied by Jim Marohn Jr.
