The Keith Clark pupil sat third as Banding Party (Paul Urquehart) jumped out to an early seven length lead and rolled past stations of :29, 1:00.1 and 1:30.2. While Had Me From Hello (Paul Davies) pulled the pocket, Clark angled Western Olympian three-wide at the third quarter mark and sent him home in :28.3 to win in 1:59.3, shaving two full seconds off stablemate Western Chrome’s track record. Had Me From Hello finished a length behind with Crimson Promise (Brandon Campbell) back in third.
The son of Western Hanover-Mai Katie was purchased for $37,000 at the Harrisburg sale by Clark, Robert Jones of Slave Lake and Peter Giannakopoulos of Edmonton, AB.
