Summerside Feature To Roscoes Child

Roscoes Child, under the command of driver Brodie MacPhee, won the Sunday afternoon feature at Red Shores Summerside.

MacPhee, who delivered a three-win performance on the day, put Roscoes Child on the point en route to the half and drove on to win in 1:56.3 for trainer Raymond White and the Selkirk Stable of Belfast, PEI. Narragansett and Rich Raider completed the top three finishers.

In other action, Lyndale Delite, with Kenny Arsenault in the bike, won the Graham Chappell Memorial in 2:02. Terry Affleck trains the three-year-old filly for David MacDonald of Belfast, PEI.

The fastest mile of the day went to Paphos owned by Don Milligan of Tyne Valley, PEI. Marc Campbell teamed the veteran to the 1:56.1 score.

Gary Chappell and Gilles Barrieau had driving doubles on the program.
