Trainer Richard Rey had a productive Sunday afternoon at the Glenboro Fair in Manitoba thanks to a three-win performance on the six-race card.
Rey, who went 0-for-9 to start the season, sent out three consecutive winners and inched a bit closer to surpassing $1 million in lifetime earnings.
Donnie Howlett, who mapped out the winning trips for the Rey trainees, scored with Reys N A Commotion (2:00.4), Julie Caesar (1:59.2) and Outlaw Spider (1:58.1).
Rey is just four wins shy of 700 lifetime victories, and he needs another $3,086 to reach the $1 million mark in career earnings.
