Trot Insider has learned that driver Brett Miller will not be able to make his drives for Saturday night's Maple Leaf Trot card at Mohawk Racetrack.

The Pennsylvania-based reinsman booked off his drives Friday night at The Meadows and was forced to call off his Canadian road trip due to a medical emergency. The career winner of more than 5,900 races and $42.3 million in purses was listed to drive in six races on Saturday night at Mohawk, including the featured $750,000 Maple Leaf Trot with Winning Mister as well as the $391,000 Roses Are Red Stakes with Camille and the $148,540 Canadian Breeders Championship for three-year-old filly pacers with Jeremes Sweetheart.

Rick Zeron will pick up the drive on Camille, while Winning Mister's driver will be Sylvain Filion. Jeremes Sweetheart is scratched from her CBC event and will not race.

Miller will also reportedly miss his Sunday night assignments at Rideau Carleton Raceway. Further updates will be posted when available.
