Spider Man Hanover was no match for the conditioned foes he tackled in his return race on July 1 at Mohawk Racetrack, but he had no problem beating up a group of Preferred 3 pacers during Tuesday’s card of racing at Georgian Downs.
J Harris hustled Spider Man Hanover to the lead from Post 3, and together they whacked out panels of :28.2, :57.3 and 1:25 before kicking home in :28.1 to win by a half-length margin over No Bu in 1:53.1. Jimmy Be Good completed the Trifecta ticket.
Travis Cullen trains the seven-time winner, who is 2-for-6 so far this year. The lion’s share of the loot lifted his lifetime earnings to $264,080.
