Driver Aaron Byron made the most out of his trip north to Chelmsford, Ontario's Sudbury Downs on Wednesday evening winning five times during the nine-race card.
The resident of Cambridge, Ont. earned his first win of the night in the second race with Jeff Byron trainee Dan The Dragon ($17.20). He then went back-to-back winning the fifth, sixth and seven races with Officernagentleman ($4.40) for conditioner Mike Sinclair, Sf Razamatazz ($5.30) for trainer Suzanne Lavoie and Apache White Foot ($28.90) for trainer Brittany Robertson. The 27-year-old reinsman closed out the harness racing program with one more victory aboard another Sinclair trainee, Hidden Hall ($5.20).
Byron's five-bagger pushes his win total to 88 for the season and 887 lifetime.
