Sent the odds-on favourite, Dream On Dream On obliged to his role for the betting public when taking the $1,150 Winners-Over Pace at Inverness Raceway on Wednesday, July 17.
Driver Ryan Campbell sat pocket with Dream On Dream On as Tipperbackjack led the field around the first turn. Campbell then kicked around Tipperbackjack to lead past a :30.3 quarter. From there, the eight-year-old If I Can Dream gelding posted splits of :59.1 and 1:29.1 in progress to a three-and-a-half length victory in 1:59.2. Tipperbackjack chased from second while Windmeredontmatter took third.
Owned by Kayla Walker, Dream On Dream On won his fifth race from 13 starts this season and his 22nd from 175 overall, earning $112,036. Ray Mac Kinnon conditions the $3.20 winner.
