Trainer Casie Coleman enjoyed a profitable night at Mohawk Racetrack thanks to a three-win performance
on Thursday’s 12-race program.
Three wins and a third-place finish turned out to be the final tally from the four representatives clad in Coleman’s traditional blue and yellow on the Thursday evening card.
Iseerightthrough U got the ball rolling with a gutsy 1:54.3 score in the fifth race for driver Jody Jamieson. The mare did most of the road work en route to posting a 1:54.3 victory – her 13th tally of the season from just 24 trips postward.
Cosmo Blue Chip’s maiden-breaking score in the seventh race gave Coleman her second winner on the program, and Tedeschi rallied for an impressive decision in the eighth race.
Cosmo Blue Chip, a three-year-old daughter of Art Major-Cheer Me Up drew away to a 1:54.1 triumph in her $17,000 conditioned assignment, while Tedeschi won a tough battle in the third quarter to post a 1:54.1 victory of her own in her $19,000 conditioned assignment.
Coleman is gearing up for a busy weekend of stakes action both North and South of the border. Her Canadian contingent includes Arts Star in the Canadian Breeders eliminations on Friday and Knock Three Times and A And Gs Confusion in the Roses Are Red eliminations on Saturday. Stateside on Saturday night she’ll send out Art Colony in the $1-million final of the Meadowlands Pace.
