At this time last year, trainer Steve Crevani was supplementing Bullville Powerful to the Meadowlands Pace. The son of Bettors Delight would go on to force heavy fractions in the classic tilt
. This morning, the now-four-year-old horse was returning from a long layoff during the qualifying session at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
With Andy Miller in the bike during the first of seven qualifiers, Bullville Powerful took an overland trip and went on to stop the clock in a sharp 1:52.4.
The horse's performance this morning was only his second charted line of the campaign and his first since February 7.
Bullville Powerful banked more than $546,000 last season.
