Tioga Downs played host to two $74,658 divisions of the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for freshman filly trotters on Sunday, July 14 and driver Tyler Buter sweep both divisions aboard My Debt Collecter ($7.80) and Beautiful Sight ($50).

My Debt Collecter (pictured above) utilized a first-over charge to score the victory in the first division. Caviart Adele (James MacDonald) went to the front and led to the quarter in :28.1 before slowing the pace with a :30.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :58.2. Buter and My Debt Collecter made their move first-up heading to the final turn as Caviart Adele led to three-quarters in 1:28.3. The two fillies battled for nearly the length of the stretch before My Debt Collecter surged by late to get her first career win in 1:57.4 by 1-1/2 lengths over Caviart Adele.  Royal Mission (Matt Kakaley) finished third.

Buter teamed up with Beautiful Sight to deliver a 24-1 upset in the second division. Pink Chou Chou (James MacDonald) was first to the quarter in :28.3 before Chapvious (Jason Bartlett) took over control with a lap to go and led to the half in :58.2.  Beautiful Site made her move first-up down the backstretch while Chapvious led to three-quarters in 1:28.2. As they reached the stretch, Beautiful Sight went after Chapvious. Chapvious dug in before swerving abruptly to the left midway down the lane allowing Beautiful Sight to go by to victory in 1:56.2.  Pink Chou Chou (James MacDonald) was able to split horses late to finish second, with Chapvious settling for third.
