Gold Rush at Georgian Downs on Saturday, July 11 produced an outstanding night of racing with approximately $1 million of purses to Ontario-sired horses

As previously announced, and in celebration of this significant night of racing for Ontario-sired horses, the Standardbred Breeders of Ontario Association (SBOA) awarded three Ontario yearling credits toward the purchase of any Ontario-sired yearling at the 2009 sales in Ontario.
Drawn at random from the owners of the 81 trotters and pacers eligible to start in one of the eight Gold Rush Races, the winners are:
$10,000 Yearling Credit
• Bulletproof Enterprises of Boca Raton Florida
• for pacing colt Power Off
$7,500 Yearling Credit
• Winbak Farms of Canada, Brampton, Ont.
• for pacing colt Barn Art
$5,000 Yearling Credit
• Linda E. Wellwood, St George, Ont. and Tammy L. Aspden, Caistor Centre, Ont.
• for trotting mare Gostreet
