Dan Noble, one of Scioto Downs' top reinsmen, won seven races during the track’s 12-dash card on Wednesday (July 12).
Wednesday night's victories brought Noble to a total of 72 wins for the Scioto Downs meet, sitting behind the two leading drivers, Chris Page and Josh Sutton.
Noble's most memorable year came back in 2011, when he won 773 races and became the leading driver at Northfield Park and Scioto Downs, the same year he was recognized with the Dan Patch Rising Star Award.
Since then Noble has continued to have great seasons here in Ohio.
Also, Noble has committed to going to Ireland for the Delaney Memorial Weekend on Aug. 12-13.
Noble stood out on Wednesday night’s card by winning with two-year-old filly Merciless, trained by Jim Dailey. Merciless was racing off of a third-place finish on July 5 in the Ohio Sire Stakes. She posted a new lifetime best Wednesday, as she won in 1:57.1.
