Bonnys Mac Prevails At Inverness

Bonnys Mac took top honours at Inverness Raceway on Sunday afternoon, prevailing in a close finish in the top pacing class to post the only sub-2:00 mile on the eight-race card.

Angus MacLean trainee Bonnys Mac prevailed in 1:57.3 by a neck over favourite Junebugs Baby with pacesetter Schooner just a half-length behind in third in this week's $1,200 Winners Over Pace.

Travis MacLean drove the homebred Western Paradise gelding to his third victory in 12 starts this year for owner Angus MacInnis of Mabou, N.S.
