Trainer/driver Richard Remillard swept both $6,740 divisions of the Lady Crocus Stakes on Saturday at Glenboro Fair with three-year-old pacing fillies Wild Chic and Rain Delay.

The stakes event is co-sponsored by Standardbred Canada and the Manitoba Standardbred Sires & Breeders Association.

Wild Chic romped to a 14 length victory in 2:01.1, setting a new track record for three-year-old pacing fillies. The daughter of Western Terror, who last competed three weeks ago at Alberta's Century Downs, shaved one-fifth of a second off Slim N Sleek's old mark that was set in 2008. Miss Patsey K and Throw Me Roses rounded out the top three finishers.

Making her Manitoba race debut off a two-month layoff, Rain Delay converted off a pocket trip to score a 2:07.3 triumph in the second division. Rocket To The Top finished over a length behind the winning Bettors Delight filly while pacesetter Jigtown ended up third.

Remillard and Valerie Emerson share ownership of both winners while Garett Isman is also a co-owner of Wild Chic.

Trevor and Michael Williams' Fancy Camelot was a repeat winner in the Manitoba fair circuit's $1,700 Fillies & Mares Open Pace, scoring in 2:00.2 by five lengths over Smoky Moon and Phoenician Gal. Don Howlett drove the nine-year-old Camelot Hall mare, who also won the Mares Open last Saturday in Morris.
