After going home empty-handed in back-to-back assignments, Twomacsonemach made his way to Grand River Raceway and pulled off a 9-1 upset in the $7,500 Horses & Geldings Preferred 3.
J Harris powered Twomacsonemach off the gate from Post 6, and together the rolled through intervals of :27, :57.2 and 1:25.3. A :29.1 closing quarter earned the Richard Moreau pupil the win in 1:54.4. Arrived Late sat a two-hole trip throughout and took home the runner-up award, while race favourite had to settle for third prize.
Gerrie Tucker and Majs NY Inc share ownership on the four-year-old son of Mach Three-Grace And Harv. It was the pacer’s fifth win of the year – and his 13th to date. He’s banked just shy of $40,000 this year and just over $100,000 to date.
