Friday's 10-race card at Grand River Raceway was cut short due to unsafe track conditions caused by heavy rain.
The first four races were contested before the cancellation, with a $7,000 division of the Prospect Series for two-year-old trotters going to the debuting Doro Sogno ($13.10).
The Il Sogno Dream-Jolie Glide colt prevailed off a pocket trip in 2:04.1 over a sloppy track, defeating Sogno Rocks by four lengths with Travis Henry in the bike for trainer Brad Shakes and owner Sylvain Fontaine of St-Edouard-De-Lotbiniere, Que. Kiss My Mass was third with favourite Willywin fourth after making an early break in stride. Duramacs was scratched.
