Michael Scores crossed the finish line first, but was disqualified to second for interference, which meant that Who Your Frens Are was declared the winner of the $10,000 Open Handicap Pace at Buffalo Raceway Saturday night

The four-year-old Camotion gelding, out of the No Nukes mare Southwind Raven, is owned by Chris Drongosky of Ahmerst, New York. It was the sixth win this season for Who Your Frens Are, who won an Open II last week, and was moving up in class.
Who Your Frens Are ($8.20) with reinsman Jamie Dunlap in the sulky, settled in fifth, as Bruener (Chris Page) hit the quarter in :28.4. Delivered Rules (Keith Kash, Jr.) was the leader at the half in :58.2, and the three-quarters in 1:28. As the field of six hit the top of the stretch, Michael Scores (Shawn McDonough) hit the wire first in 1:56.2, but was placed second by the judges for interference just past the quarter-pole. Nifty Prescott (John Cummings, Jr.) came in third.
Trained by Bobbi Martin, the $5,000 share of the winning purse put Who Your Frens Ares’ season bankroll at $29,599, and $59,787 lifetime.
