He was less than 48 hours removed from winning the $24,000 Mares Open at Indiana's Hoosier Park on Thursday evening with Ultimate Velocity but it was business as usual for the long distance road warrior, catch-driver Jason Dillander, on the Saturday evening, July 9 program at The Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park

Building on his first campaign at The Winter Capital Of Harness Racing, Dillander continued his race bike duty pattern of the past two months for long distance commuting from Indiana to Florida. The former Chicago circuit regular brought home three winners on the Saturday night card at Pompano.
Dillander was again hired to pilot Rockincam in the $14,000 weekly top class feature. Racing from off the pace this time out, the four-year-old Cambest-Migraine son rocketed to the front nearing the :56 half and stepped away from the field to stop the clock in 1:50.4 over Four Starz Bling with Wally Hennessey in tow and Sugars Pride, driven by Walter Ross Jr. It was the second straight week of domination in the event for Rockincam, trained by Warren Harp for Stephen Farrell of Ocala, Florida.
Dillander completed his hat trick in short order thereafter with three-year-old gelding Scirocco Andy in a $5,000 purse conditioned test and with Prince Rocco in a $6,100 purse conditioned trot. The $11,000 purse top trot went to Keystone Thomas in rein to Stephane Bardier in 1:55.1 and the other winners-over pacing co-feature went to Paper Luck in 1:53.4 with Richie Simard in the bike for a 19-1 upset.
Florida's top two filly trotters from 2010 will be renewing acquaintances and a strong rivalry when the action begins in the $1 million stakes program of the Florida Standardbred Breeders And Owners Association on Wednesday, July 13 in a $6,075 purse split of Sunshine State Stakes.
When Seeking Jeanie and Little Peanut last met on December 11, 2010 in the $58,463 Florida Breeders Stake two-year-old final, Seeking Jeanie kept her undefeated record intact in a thrilling tight photo when pushed to her limit by Linda and Matt Kakaley's Little Peanut. Seeking Jeanie recently had a sickness scratch setback, while Little Peanut has already had four starts in 2011 at Plainridge Racecourse and lowered her speed mark to 2:00.4. Upon her return to her southern base, Linda Kakaley was also active at the claiming box as reached in to take veteran trotter Smokey Yankee for $6,000 on the Saturday night program.
There's also a $1,048 Pick-4 carryover into the July 13 program.
