Tyler Miller drove five winners during the 10-race card at Tioga Downs on Sunday afternoon, June 9.
Miller's successful Sunday was highlighted by a victory in the featured $15,069 conditioned pace with Rockin On Venus ($2.50) -- one of three winners on the day for trainer Jeff Cullipher.
Rockin On Venus went straight to the lead in the feature and set fractions of :28.2, :56.4 and 1:24 with Better Take It (Marcus Miller) first to make a move going down the backstretch from third but posing no major threat. Rockin On Venus found another gear and won easily in 1:51 flat. Pocket-sitter Primo Uomo (Jim Taggart Jr.) followed 3-1/4 lengths behind in second and Fess Up N (Barton Dalious) finished third over Better Take It.
Rockin On Venus, a six-year-old son of Rockin Image, is owned by Pollack Racing Llc. He earned his fourth win of the season from a dozen starts and now has 22 career victories.
Miller and Cullipher teamed up once more for a win with Sport Secret ($3.20). Miller also drove upset winners Del Mar Doug ($36) for trainer Joseph Skowyra, Parmesan N ($18.80) for Mike Deters and Fendi Hanover ($40.80) for Tom Fanning.
Cullipher completed his training triple with Troopler L ($2.40), driven by Brett Beckwith.
