The consistent nine-year-old pacing mare CMR Maybe Loaded returned to the Jamie Copley stable to start a new win streak and help the conditioner to a triple on Friday night at Rideau Carleton Raceway.
After reeling off eight consecutive wins in April and May, Copley lost CMR Maybe Loaded in the claiming ranks and her streak came to an end. But since she returned to his care, she has won two in a row with her latest win on Friday in 1:56.4. CMR Maybe Loaded's 47th career win pushed her bankroll over the $300,000 mark.
Copley also won with three-year-old filly April Bandit, who notched her third straight victory in a career-best 1:57.1, and four-year-old mare Act Naturally, who took a new mark of 1:58.1 during the 15-race card. Stephane Gendron drove all three winners.
Copley now has 577 wins on his lifetime record and has banked over $2.89 million in purses.
