According to a report by the Associated Press, Kentucky governor Steve Beshear today released details of proposed legislation he introduced today which would raise money for the state and its horse racing industry.
The article indicates that the legislation calls for the Kentucky Lottery Corp. to oversee slots, which would be limited to horse racing tracks.
The report states that the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission is scheduled to consider whether to support the proposal this afternoon.
