Liberty Style began her racing career last season at Buffalo Raceway as she destroyed the field by 5-3/4 lengths in 1:57.1 in the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for two-year-old pacing fillies. Well, that win was just the start of a stellar freshman campaign for the American Ideal-Fly In Style and she returns to where it all began and headlines a $121,800 USD NYSS leg on Wednesday, June 10.

Liberty Style built quite a resume in just 10 races in 2025. She won the two-year-old NYSS pacing title at Batavia Downs by taking the $416,667 championship by 1-3/4 lengths over Savage Cindy in 1:55. Liberty Style was also victorious in last season's preliminary NYSS events, besides Buffalo, at Tioga Downs, Monticello Raceway and Batavia Downs.

She has already started out the season in a big way by capturing the $120,822 New York Sire Stakes race at Saratoga Raceway on May 31 with a 3-1/4-length score in 1:52.3 in her only sophomore outing. The victory pushed her career earnings past the $500,000 mark in just 11 lifetime starts.

Liberty Style hopes history repeats itself at Buffalo Raceway as Jason Bartlett will steer her from the two post for trainer Andrew Stafford and co-owner Bonnie Benson of Lewes, Delaware.

There's plenty of strong competition for Liberty Style as four other entrants finished in the money in the opening leg at Saratoga back on May 31.

Odds On Monetary (Huntsville-All On Top) drew the three-hole and will get the services of Matt Kakaley. Trained by Travis Alexander, she is coming off a 1-1/4-length decision in the NYSS in 1:53. Odds On Monetary produced $293,471  in earnings this far in her brief career. She won four of 10 starts in 2025.

Existential (Huntsville-Frankies Dream) was second in the NYSS at Saratoga and will start from the four spot for driver Drew Monti, fresh off his 3,000th career win on Saturday. Trained by Scott Di Domenico, Existential has just two career victories but has still won $247,660 lifetime.

The Jake Huff-trained Ideal Beauty Queen (American Ideal-Azreal As It Gets) took the show spot in the competition at Saratoga and will have local reinsman Kevin Cummings hopping aboard for the ride from the five-hole.

Another gal with a shot is Carry Back (Huntsville-Hard Eight), who also finished in third place in the NYSS at Saratoga. She drew the six post for driver Braxten Boyd and trainer Linda Toscano.

Others in the field include Taladega Express (post one, Leon Bailey), Surreal Spirit (post seven, Jeff Gregory) and Saulsbrook Rolo (post eight, Brett MacDonald).

With a warm, sultry day expected, the field may take aim on the all-aged and three-year-old filly pacing record at Buffalo Raceway of 1:52.2, established on May 26, 2022 by Gotthegreenlight (Bartlett) for trainer Nifty Norman.

The 15-race program will also feature a trio of $20,000 USD Excelsior Series events for the sophomore filly pacers.

There will be a $660 carryover in the Pick 5, which begins in the second race.
