Ourlittlemiracle let Lydeo do the heavy lifting on the front end, then kicked by her in the Lightning Lane to capture Thursday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,100 filly and mare conditioned pace.
Lydeo was pressured for much of the back half by Party Cruiser, who sustained her first-over bid. That set the stage for Ourlittlemiracle’s winning move. The five-year-old daughter of Bettors Delight-Machnbyrd Princess threw down a :28 final quarter for Dave Palone to edge Lydeo by a head in 1:51.3. The game Party Cruiser finished third.
Ron Burke trains Ourlittlemiracle, who extended her lifetime bankroll to $232,485, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
Mike Wilder piloted four winners on the 12-race card.
Live harness racing at The Meadows continues on Friday, with first post at 5:10 p.m.
