Fleet Officer, owned by Susan Rose, Mount Stewart and driven by Mark Bradley, will try to extend his winning form when he meets a full field of contenders in the Wednesday night feature at Red Shores at Summerside Raceway.
Fleet Officer, son of Pans To Reason that is trained by David Rose, got some poor luck drawing the outside Post 8 while squaring off against Life Savior, a two-length winner in his last start for Marc Campbell, and Seannee Lad, who romped in 1:58.3 when driver Norris Rogers got him home with a :28.3 closer.
Then add heavy hitters Porthill Alf, Blue Meadow Willie and Louie Fernandez to the mix and the final leg of the evening’s Pick 4 becomes a hot ticket.
Paphos, who has also posted back to back winning performances for owner Frank Banks of Summerside, has drawn the rail for driver Terry Gallant, while Tobins Star gets some post relief leaving from the second slot on the starting grid for driver Philip Doucette and his co-owner Thomas Lynch.
First-race post time for the 12-race program is 7:00 p.m.
