Lucky Jim has a death grip on the top spot and he won’t let go.
The Julie Miller-trained four-year-old son of S Js Photo – Hawaiian Sierra is undefeated in 12 starts this season, and that has helped the gelding stash away $394,325 in earnings for partners David and John Prushnok and William Gregg.
Winbak Speed, who captured the third leg of the Pacing Classic at Mohawk Racetrack last Saturday, vaulted from fourth to second in the standings. He picked up one of the first-place votes in this week’s poll. Also earning a first-place vote was Mr Wiggles, who was idle this past week following his solid win in the $500,000 Hoosier Cup on May 30.
