Shark Week extended his win streak to five straight in the $16,000 Preferred Pace at Century Downs on Saturday, June 7.
Shark Week (Mike Hennessy) was early out of the gate from post seven as the heavily backed favourite. The Rod Hennessy student led field through fractions in :27.1 and :55.4, uncontested. Midnight Mover (Philip Giesbrecht) buzzed on the outside up the backstretch, but never quite caught Shark Week before the three quarters in 1:25.3.
