Cecil Hanover (Ake Svanstedt) should be the one to beat in the $57,000 first division for colts & geldings (non-betting race). The gelding by Chapter Seven is one-for-one this season after winning a NYSS race at Vernon Downs.
The Gruffalo (Scott Zeron) is the 9-5 morning line favourite in the $57,000 second division for colts & geldings. The colt by Chapter Seven fell just short against Cecil Hanover in his first start of the season in a leg of NYSS at Vernon Downs. He has won more than $240,000 in his career.
The Annie Stoebe-trained Instagram Model (Scott Zeron) is the 3-1 morning line in the $59,200 first division for fillies. The filly by Chapter Seven finished second during a leg of the NYSS at Vernon Downs. She had five wins as a two-year-old and now has won almost $280,000 in purses.
In the $60,300 second division for fillies, Sadie Hanover (Scott Zeron) is the 2-1 morning line choice. Linda Toscano trains the filly by Chapter Seven who is three-for-three this season including an impressive NYSS win at Vernon Downs.
