Theresademoninme cruised gate-to-wire to take top honours in Sunday evening's featured $11,000 Preferred 2 Trot at Georgian Downs for the Baillargeon brothers.

Theresademoninme took the lead with the inside post advantage and remained clear of any serious threats through fractions of :28.2, :58 and 1:26.1 en route to his first victory of the season in 1:56.1 as light rain fell over the Innisfil oval. He paid $10.60 to win. Spartan Victory (Ryan Holliday) followed Theresademoninme throughout and finished second while Incredable Frank (Alfie Carroll) dove inside to finish third in the shortened five-horse field.

Mario Baillargeon drives the four-year-old Kadabra gelding while Ben Baillargeon handles the training duties. The winning owner is Douglas Millard of Woodstock, Ont.

The Preferred win was the start of a natural hat trick on the Sunday card for Mario Baillargeon. He won the next two races with a pair of David Keyes trainees -- the maiden-breaking sophomore filly pacing Machmeter ($3.40) and four-year-old pacing mare Depth More Depth ($17.60).
