Duly Resolved was a heavily-favoured winner in the $11,000 Preferred 2 Trot while Bolt Power erupted for a massive upset in the $11,000 Preferred 2 Pace for horses and geldings.
Duly Resolved, who was sent off at odds of 1-5, survived a first-over trip en route to securing a 1:57.3 triumph in his assignment.
Sicario led the field through fractions of :28.4, :58.2 and 1:28.1, but it was Duly Resolved coming first-over at the half using a solid, late kick to win by a head over Sicario. Power And Grace tagged along to finish third.
Matt Bax trains the four-year-old son of Resolve-Motown Muscle for Bax Stable, David Hudson, Don Allensen and Gaelic Stable. The win was the first of the season for the eight-time winner who now boasts a bankroll of $848,872.

Jason Ryan worked out a perfect pocket trip for Bolt Power, who watched Magical Arthur sail along on the lead through fractions of :27.1, :56.1 and 1:24.3. Bolt Power used his 29-second speed late to win by 1-1/4 lengths over Magical Arthur in 1:53.4. Even-money favourite Respect Our Flag was third.
