Carmen Auciello harnessed a triad of victors at Georgian Downs on Tuesday evening, June 4.
Jimmy Jets ($3.20) kicked off Auciello's training hat trick in a $7,500 conditioned pace that served as the card opener. Winning every panel in :28.2, :58.2 and 1:27.1, Travis Henry piloted the Auciello student to a 1-1/2-length score in 1:57.1 over Brookdale Thomas (Dale Spence) and Diamond Ryder (Samuel Fillion). Auciello Stables and On The Go Stable Inc. co-own the sophomore Jimmy Freight-Exhilarated colt.
Auciello and Henry returned in race three, a $9,500 conditioned pace, with Hestonator ($5.80) who controlled the timer through panels in :28.2, :58.3 and 1:26.2. Despite charting broken equipment, the four-year-old Heston Blue Chip-Capelo Rose gelding held on to win by a half length in 1:55.1 over Holy Jalapeno (Colin Kelly) and Nova Scotia Strong (Tyler Moore). Denarben Stables and Auciello Stables co-own the winner.
Finally, Thatll Be Tiger ($2.50) rounded out Auciello's trio of triumphs with Henry guiding him through a gate-to-wire mile in the $11,000 conditioned pace. Maintaining a 1-1/2-length lead, Thatll Be Tiger set the tempo with fractions in :26.4, :56.1 and 1:24.1 before scoring by two lengths in 1:52.2, also despite charting broken equipment. Lets Get Rocked (Todd Ratchford) was second with Century Hannibal (Jason Ryan) third. Daniel Sarafian owns the six-year-old son of Tigerama-Thatll Be Amber.
